Tarjetas de Béisbol Para la República Dominicana

Do you remember YOUR first baseball cards?

Even though their country’s greatest export is MLB players – from Juan Marichal and Pedro Martinez to Juan Soto and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. – most kids in the Dominican Republic today have never seen a baseball card. We’re hoping to change that – and we’d love to partner with businesses and philanthropic organizations to scale up this grassroots giveaway project!

Cards4theDR distributes free baseball cards (and sometimes baseball shirts) to youths across the country, especially in non-tourist areas. This is a 100% volunteer-run effort supported by generous baseball fans across the United States and Canada.

We started giving away baseball cards of Dominican-born players to kids in December 2020. Not just for fun, but also as a window to learning math and English (a vital skill in a tourism-dependent economy). But mostly we are all about the fun.
